Effective date: October 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DebtMathLab (“we”, “us”), operated by DebtMathLab Team, handles information when you visit debtmathlab.com (the “Site”).
1. Information you enter into calculators
All calculations run inside your web browser. The balances, interest rates, payments and debt names you type are not sent to our servers, are not stored by us and are cleared when you leave the page.
2. Information we collect
- Contact form. If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message by email so we can reply. These messages are not stored in our website database. We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request.
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request. This is used for security and to keep the Site running, and is deleted on the host’s normal schedule.
- Fonts. The Site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request. See Google Fonts privacy.
- Security. To protect the Site from abuse, a temporary, hashed version of your IP address may be used to limit repeated form submissions or login attempts. It is deleted automatically within one hour.
3. Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners act as third-party vendors on this Site:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- To learn more, read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used, through a Google-certified consent message. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy and cookie settings link shown on the Site. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads.
See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
4. How we use information
- To reply to your messages and requests.
- To keep the Site secure and working properly.
- To show advertising that pays for the free calculators.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
5. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
We rely on your consent for advertising cookies, on our legitimate interests for security and server logs, and on your request when we reply to a message.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”; we do not sell personal information, and you can limit ad personalisation using the links in section 3. To make a request, contact us at contact@debtmathlab.com.
7. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Security
The Site uses HTTPS encryption, and we take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we handle. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
9. Links to other websites
The Site and its ads may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
